While we do our best to provide an open and friendly atmosphere, we have basic guidelines that must be followed to avoid chaos.
Avoid offtopic comments. Always remember that you are not in a gin drinking session. If you feel that a topic is not appropriate for the forum that it is in, please do not post about it in public and inform the moderator through PM.
Avoid text lingo or SMS-type posting. There is no 150 character limit in this forum and some people are still not familiar with this newborn dialect. Spare them the headache of reading your posts.
Avoid using ALL CAPS posts as these equate to shouting or yelling at the reader of your messages.
Use smileys sparingly and appropriately, some posters are not as happy or lonely as you are or as weird as you are.
Avoid consecutive posts unless they are posted on different dates and from a different dimension. If you want to add something to your message just use the MODIFY option to add to your previous thread. If you accidentally posted a message twice, don't wait for the mods to remove the redundant post for you - remove it yourself. if you posted it twice on purpose, you must be going nuts.
Avoid offensive, insulting or derogatory remarks. Remember that even though you are facing a monitor without channel buttons, there are PERSONS actually reading your posts. Don't posts messages about someone that you woudn't say face to face to him/her/it unless you know that person and you feel that you can get away with it, be our guest make your day, just don't run to us when you get flamed.
We reserve the right to remove any topic or messages that is deemed inappropriate or anything the puny minds of the Mods would think is unthinkable to be posted.
Please do not openly challenge the decisions made by the moderators. If you disagree with a moderator's actions, PM an admin to settle the problem. Do not post about it in public or disrespect our staff.
We reserve the right to ban any member who violates these guidelines. However, warning will be provided in most cases. Those who are deemed a threat to this forum will be put in a mock trial and summarily executed and banned from this group, so please behave.
Please keep in mind that "minors" frequent these forums, as well as people of diverse backgrounds so post appropriately. Excessive foul language and inappropriate images will not be tolerated.
Warez, hacking/cracking tools, and other illegal content is not allowed.
Images in avatars are allowed, but are to be no larger than 100x100 pixels. Please avoid using images on your signature. Only three (3) lines are allowed to be used as your signature.
;D And finally, although using internet forums are good types of social interaction, there is no substitute for the real thing. Meet some real people sometimes you dorks!
