dami ngang violence sa movie na to... pero yung violence nya truly heartrending and mapapaisip ka na...deserving ba ako sa sacrifices ni Jesus...

i haven't seen it myself but i've read a lot of good feedback.. showing pa lang dito un (kc nga sa outer space ako nakatira)..

i read din na kamay daw ni Mel Gibson (director nung film) ung kamay na pinakitang pinapako si Jesus sa cross.. if i will have a chance to get a walk-in part on that film eh malamang un din ang pipiliin kong part.. truly, it is in the hands of (and for) sinful men that a sinless Christ should die. ;D Amazing Grace!

the Jews are very sensitive about this... actually it has created an uproar abroad over its alledgy anti semitic content... I guess the violence portrayed touched hearts... the Jews themselves killed the son of God. A sore point in their long and colorful history.

Yeah it seems like it but it really isn't the Jews who did it. WE did. Everyone of us. We need to face the fact that we all nailed Jesus to the cross and everytime we sin, we crucify Him--again & again. We are all guilty not only the Jews. The film isn't anti-Semitic; it is a story of God's love and suffering at Jesus Christ's expense.

Ok, so WE did it. As the descendants of Adam and Eve.

Remember the old passage in the bible: "... a tooth for a tooth... a life for a life..." on the book of Exodus... Adam is a perfect man, and he lost it by rebelling to God, therefor it is only of an equal value of the life of another perfect man [Jesus] to pay for that wages of sin. So in effect, Jesus Christ was a ransom paid for all the redeemable offsprings of the first couple.
