According to the bible...
"Love is long-suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury." (1 Corinthians 13:4, 5)
This probably is the best definition of what a love is for a common man.

Only the Bible has the best & perfect definition on a subject as simple yet so complex as love: "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends." v7-8 Love is the only thing standing when all else has fallen. I don't think I can add more to it. It speaks for itself.  |

This might be getting a little bit deep. Kase, honestly I don't know if I can, or may be able to reach this level of love.
We all have our fears... and maybe this would be one of them. Love. Supposedly love is all about giving and not expecting anything in return, the thing is, we are afraid to get hurt. Love doesn't expect something in return, but it needs affirmation. And to keep that love burning, it has to have a fuel [or a love reciprocated] to keep it alive and going.
Ideally, this is the perfect form of love. But us, humans, being imperfect can only strive to have this kind of love. Pure and perfect.
But the question I should be asking is, what does love mean for me, considering my fear of giving it all and my fear of not receiving any.
Question still remains unanswered, maybe when I finally come to terms and finally met the one.

" 1 John 4:18 ;D hmm... fear has something to do with punishment that's true also... but in love? punishment from what? from the failures? from the mistakes made...?  "Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house, it would be utterly scorned." Song of Solomon 8:7 I remember this one... the Shulamite? Solomon offered everything he has and yet the shulamite still held true to her promise.

love yung di mo na maintindihan yung sarili mo yung lahat ng emotions mo nag sabay sabay na di mo lam kung magagalit ka masaya malungkot iiyak o tatawa!
